Spring is here

Hello from Bø.

It's warm and sunny and I can hear water gurgling and see grass again. Yes, the winter is already over and it's that season again.... the one where I complain about it being impossible to run in Breisås and keep one's feet dry. (This season includes spring, summer and fall. Everything without snow can just be lumped together.)

It is also essay writing season.

I was a little antsy. See how sunny it is outside?

Goodbye, Emil

On Friday March 25 the world became a darker place as we lost our friend, neighbour and classmate Emil.

He was hiking on Gaustatoppen, accidentally slipped and fell a few hundred meters, and died.

Emil was a great person and important part of our community. It's shocking that he is suddenly gone.

It's very difficult to accept that this accident happened, especially to this completely wonderful person.

Goodbye, Emil. I will cherish my memories of you.

I am thinking of his friends and family, but don't know what to say.

We know that Emil would want us to smile again.
